I used to have good luck with WMP 11; I did use the version of WMP that is
on this computer one time; I find it not quite as accessible as Windows
Media 11 was!  I also have used CDEX, but had not put it on this computer!
Am trying to look for a place where I can get it from now!

I would try a different ripper altogether like CDex or free mp3 ripper, 
google is your friend for that. I never ever use media player in fact I 
avoid it like the black death.
