Quick time is from Apple. Since it was taken with an Android phone, chances are that Windows Media or Winamp will play it just fine. I'd try that first.

Thanks all for your suggestions and am willing to listen to more, for my fear is that Quicktime may be the only player that will work with this video as it was taken with an Android smart phone! You can always do a save target as in the right click menu on the link instead of just hitting enter as well.
