Good evening fellow listers: I'm thinking about getting into broadcasting on ACB radio Interactive sometime in the near future. I plan to record my live shows as they're going out on air, so that I can then upload them as a podcast somewhere online, so that people can go and listen to and/or download them. People have said, that you can use blogger to post podcast/show notes, and use ourmedia.com, to upload the actual audio files, which in tern would present you with a link leading to the audio file to which you can paste into the blog. This link, is what people would use to download the file to their computers. This much I understand. However, I've heard, that blogger isn't all that user friendly, and ourmedia.com has a bad habbit of not making uploaded files available right away and once something is uploaded, there's no garuntee as to how long the file will remain on the site. So, I was wondering, if there was an accessible site where I could upload podcasts, and add show notes all in one place? Of course, being that I don't yet have a show slot, I won't have to deal with any of this just yet, but I just wanted to get an idea as to where I could post mp3 copies of my radio show, if I decide to archive it. Thanks.
Mike Rochester, NY.
