Seems like you have to have an account in order to upload videos of a certain
length to You Tube! I have something I wouldn't mind putting up there myself,
but haven't a clue as to how you do it!

Some ware on the upload page there should be a page that should inform you. WMV
should work though. As for size, well it isn't so much the size but time. I
think but I guess it aint true any more, vids could be 10 minutes. Some of mine
are an hour so so much for that I guess.

Subject: file types with youtube

hey listers. i am trying to upload some video files to youtube and they will
only play for 54 seconds. they are different lengths but all the same file
type. they were recorded with my ipad and i converted them to wmv. does anyone
know if there is a file type that is only for youtube or is it the size that
matters. i'm frustrated with this because i've wasted the last 2 evenings
wrestling with this. thanks for any help.
