Subject: Re: sony srs x5 bluetooth question

I'm looking at this unit now and I'm curious, what made you decide on this particular model? It doesn't offer anything outstanding for its price and other products we've discussed can be purchased for muc hthe same price or even less/

Of course, I'm looking at things from an Asutralian perspective but I'll continue on my thread nevertheless to illustrate the point.

The SRS-X5 retails here for $299 and for that money you can easily buy something like a Bose Soundlink Mini or certainly a Logitech UE Boombox.

Yes the Sony has a Speakerphone but many of worth bothering with, the only one I've found which was any good was in the Yamaha MPX100 so if you're just buying the unit for its hands free then you're most likely wasting your time.

Okay, so you've bought the thing so you can either take it back or make the best of things I guess, I doubt that it would be too complex to work out, perhaps you might be able to find an accessible edition of the manual for the machine and try and work things out from there.

All the best!
