Subject line says about everything I could say. I just received my new Crane EP Radio and I’m very happy to say that there are many improvements to be had.
Sensitivity is once again on the ball and I actually think the sensitivity of this set is better than the first CC EP radio I bought just over 4 years ago. The tuner for the antenna is far more affective too. Quality of the controls feels all so much better, the nice “Drag” is present on the volume, bass and treble controls. I compared this radio with my CC 2E which - apart from the CC EP - is the most sensitive AM radio I own, its got to the point where there’s very little to separate the CC EP and the CC 2E as far as sensitivity goes now and I recommend both sets very highly.
