You all can't blame Microsoft; in Europe, it COULD NOT include a browser as 
part of Windows OS offerings, the Europeans say it CREATED a monopoly.  To 
guard against continuous frivolous lawsuits, it's just better for each one 
of us to figure out what software to use in recording videos, hence the 
reason why Microsoft is probably doing away with the Windows Media Center. 
The company MAY BE TIRED of lawsuits and would rather stay above the fray if 
that helps the bottom line.
