Subject: Review Tivoli Audio Music System Three: Tivoli Audio Music
SystemThree
Another new offering from Tivoli Audio.
I have a couple of their radios here which I've sent demos of to the
list and - if they're any guide - this system should be pretty good.
I agree with the author of the review that they the system won't have
the bass punch that the Bose Soundlink III does but - having said that -
I actually think that the bass of the Bose Soundlink III - whilst very
good - could do with a little tightening.
Anyway the Australian version has a DAB+ radio instead of the AM radio,
both models have FM.
The FM tuner circuit in the radios here shines, listen to a station 100
miles away without any static or distortion whatever, I imagine the
Music System 3 will exhibit the same characteristics on FM.
For those in the U.S. you get the AM Radio band which isn't teribly
sensitive but gives you an incredible quality and richness of sound
which is hard to find in an AM radio today, the closest you might find
is the sound from the CC EP or CC SW.
Bluetooth connectivity allows you to stream media from your iPhone or
whatever.
The battery life is around 20 hours its claimed which is impressive for
a Bluetooth Portable system, the battery can be recharged.
The system is a bit pricy in Australian dollars but then again, you're
not going to find too many 2 speaker portable stereo Digital Radio sets
around these days with a quality sound.
.
U.S. custoemrs pay half the price for the Music System 3 that we
Australians do.
