Yep, I'll put the link to the manual below.
Since I last wrote about this I've progressed further, I've now found
the Contacts and History screens and can browse through those in effect.
The phone is set to display "Online Contacts", I discovered that I can
type a letter - in a similar way to how you do it with a number pad on a
mobile device - and get to contacts in the Screen that way, I know what
order my contacts appear in so that helps and I used Skype on the
computer to help me sort things out there
So here's the manual

Actually the manual is extremely detailed and well laid out, if it hadn’t been
for the manual then I doubt I would have come this far, I looked up a PDF
version with Google and I have it available if anyone would like to give it a
look.

Didn't the manual say anything? Isn't there a disk with the phone or anything?

Only thing I have to work out now is how to tell the system that you want to
make an International call using Skype-out, I'm sure I'll find the answer if I
keep exploring.

At last! I have my RTX DUALphone 4088 Skype Cordless phone up and running and
its a real treat.
Yes, there are things you can’t easily do without eyes, but there is plenty you
can do.
I intended that the cordless phone system to be a secondary Skype telephone,
that is one that can be used whilst all computers and so on are turned off or
disabled, I can at least make and receive calls.
If anyone calls me on Skype then its just a matter of pressing a
button to take the call and another to end - much the same as a
conventional cordless phone. -
Calling an online Skype contact is something I’ve not yet tried though I
imagine its probably not even worth the bother given you can’t see who is
online to start with but I can at least use either the PSTN or my “Skype Out”
to dial telephone numbers.
Speakerphone sounds very nice - particularly with Skype-To-Skype calls.
A standard 3.5MM headphones jack is provided for private listening, connection
to hearing instruments etc.
