A few days ago I sent an e-mail to High Criteria, the makers of Total Recorder, outlining the problem I and others are having that Total Recorder does not close. They promptly got back to me and asked me to send them my total recorder log and which screen reader I'm using. I said the problem was with JAWS and Windoweyes. This morning they sent me a message saying they were able to reproduce the problem and it would be fixed in the next release, which "will come out in the next few weeks".
