Yes, the S6 from Samsung is one of the current models, its not the top model of Samsung phone, the top is the Samsung Note5 Edge and I previously owned a Samsung Note4.
Samsung have introduced “Voice assistant” with their new range of phones, “Voice Assistant” is the name Samsung have given to their modified version of Talkback. “Voice Assistant” has many accessibility enhancements which make things a lot easier though I have found myself switching between “Voice Assistant” and “Google Talkback” so - as with a Windows computer - you have a choice of which Screen Reader you wish to use at any time. There’s also a third Screen Reader available for Android but I can’t remember the name. Naturally with all these Android Screen Readers the choice of Voice Synthesiser can be personalised to your needs. There is a review of the Samsung “Voice Assistant” Screen Reader in a previous issue of AFB Access World, note that “Voice Assistant” was formally known as “Galaxy Talkback”. > On 25 Dec 2015, at 8:09 AM, Casey <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi is this the newest android cell phone? > And if so has talk back unproved in what you can all do with it since the s > five was out? > > > > On 12/23/2015 7:06 PM, Dane Trethowan wrote: >> In 2 words, first class. >> >> I haven’t used headphones with the S6 yet I’ve been setting up the S6 using >> its internal speaker and that is so clear and loud! >> >> >> ********** >> Those of a positive and enquiring frame of mind will leave the rest of the >> halfwits in this world behind. >> >> >> >> > > -- > Casey > ********** Those of a positive and enquiring frame of mind will leave the rest of the halfwits in this world behind.
