All I know is that I had a pair of JBL headphones at one time and I regarded them very highly but the main problem I found was that they emphasised parts of the soundtrack - as a lot of headphones do - and there's nothing wrong with that I guess.

Bluetooth 4.1 is good enough but if you're using these with an IOS device then they won't sound as good as they possibly could because the IOS devices are not using ATPX protocol where as JBL is, there's a page which lists the brands of handphones and other Bluetooth devices along with those compatible with them.

Just to clarify what ATPX is, its a lossless Bluetooth protocol similar to Airplay but obviously doesn't have the distance that Airplay does.

If you own a Samsung device that's come out in the last 2 years then the chances are that your device will handle these headphones well.

How you getting on with the B&W P7's by the way?

Hi!
Has anyone seen or tried the new Jbl Everest headphones.
They come in 3 versions.
One in-ear and one on-ear and the last one which i am intrested in is around
ear.
I read a lot of good about them but for now they are out of price range.
I can not remember the cost in the US or Australia but in Sweden the around
ear version costs 2800 swedish crona.
They are bluetooth 4.1 so i don’t know if they will sound good enough for some.
