Good, you’re using that word rather generally I think. So when you talk of good, are you talking about audio quality, convenience or what?
I myself - as previously stated - wonder why it is that the iPod - given varied reviews and comments I’ve read on the subject - doesn’t have as good a quality audio output through its Headphones socket as does the iPhone - and even then that’s not the best - when the whole idea of the iPod really is to play music in the first place. One can only assume therefore that Apple don’t really give a damn about the Audio Quality aspect of the iPod any more and probably want to kill it completely in the end anyway. I’ve not heard the quality of audio from the internal Speaker of the iPod, I’ve not owned an iPod since the forth generation iPod touch, the speaker in that was very small but audio was reasonable from that so if the Internal speaker has improved then that’s a good thing but I never ever deemed it totally necessary for an internal speaker in a device for music playback in the first place so its not a deal breaker for me - who in there right mind would listen to music through the Internal speaker of an iPod for long periods anyway - <smile>. On the other hand the speakers - yep two - in the iPad Mini 4 which I got for my Birthday last year are damn magnificent considering the size of the device, not stella stuff for music no but certainly great when you want to listen to radio broadcasts, watch audio documentaries, sit on the couch and work with your iPad all day, conduct voice/video calls and so on, I don’t want to overstate things but I reckon the audio from the iPad Mini would have to be about the best you’ll get from a tablet of that size. As for cases for the iPad Mini, its been my experience that whoever an iPad exists then the case you desire is not too far away and probably the best place to look for cases is on eBay, I found the cases I wanted there in around 5 minutes and they didn’t cost me an arm and a leg either. You could of course go to the Apple Store and see what they’ve got. > On 9 Jan 2016, at 9:17 AM, Anders Holmberg <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi! > I never expected the ipod to be as good as the iphone or the ipad mini. > The problem with the ipad mini is that it can not be carried around easily. > I have been looking for a kind of holster or bag to carrie around with but > with no luck. > /A >> 7 jan. 2016 kl. 20:01 skrev John Gurd <[email protected]>: >> >> Basically, the audio doesn't sound as good as I thought it would.
