How much are you willing to spend? I'm not a fan of Bose speakers either. A few months ago I purchased the Cambridge SoundWorks OontZ Angle 3XL from Amazon for $99. It has an excellent sound and packs 20 watts of power. It looks like it's at $109 right now. Here is the link if you want to check it out.
