Have a quick update: I did get the video to play by going into Auto-play; then chosing Windows Media! Problem is that I couldn't advance or go back; now (after trying several other options, Windows Media won't play it! This is most frustrating! I know that there is someone on this list who believes that VLC will play anything; not so, for it won't play the DVD I have in the machine now! Tom Kaufman

However my computer absolutely refuses to play this DVD! When I place the DVD into the DVD/CD drive, VLC comes up.but does nothing! When I go to computer; then go to the D drive, I am presented with a dialog, informing me that Windows cannot access the specified file, path or device; it goes on to tell me that I may not have the appropriate permissions (or some such nonsense) to play this file! It's my DVD (I bought it) I.along with the band.play in it! Why is it that my computer won't play it? What is it I need to do? Help much appreciated! Tom Kaufman
