Okay, I’ve been doing further research on this, actually I Tweeted the people 
at B&W directly, there’s no doubt that twitter is the platform to use if you 
want information <smile>.
There have actually been two firmware updates released for the MM1’s however - 
to save yourself some time - there’s a quick and simple way to see that your 
speakers are running the most frequent firmware.
Power the speakers down into the “standby” mode by pressing standby on the 
remote controller.
If the speakers power down instantly then you know they have the latest 
firmware installed.
If the speakers take around 11 seconds to power down into “Standby” mode then 
your firmware needs updating.
