Congratulations on isolating this bug. I'm sure you had a lot of fun with 125555-06 :) It's a good example why a programmer shouldn't rely on any assumptions - obviously the author of the prepatch script couldn't imagine a root filesystem which isn't named "/". Though of course the output of "df -n" isn't really nicely machine-readable either ..

I never did log a bug on it.

Don - is there a chance that we get a new revision of 125555 which would fix this? While 137137 is pre-installed in Solaris after 10 10/08, there are obviously still people patching older systems.
