So, let me ask this question a slightly different way; what information do you feel you are not getting from patchdiag.xref today?
Your list is pretty complete, as far as I'm concerned (no wonder, we've talked about that before :) ). But the question remains:
Would Oracle mind, if we use data from patchdiag.xref and the XML-files to create a combined, extended patchdiag.xref file, and if we re-distribute this file?
Of course we'd prefer if Oracle would add the information from you list to patchdiag.xref itself, but how big is the chance that this is gonna happen? Especially with the advent of Solaris 11 and IPS, which won't make use of the existing patching infrastructure, do you have any hope this being realized?
