Monmouth University, in West Long Branch, NJ (at the Jersey Shore, only 1 hour from NYC by car or 90 minutes by train), is seeking a part-time head coach for its sailing team. MU owns 18 FJs home-based at the Shrewsbury Sailing & Yacht Club in Oceanport, NJ, only 10 minutes from campus. MU is a member of MAISA and will host its Central Fall Qualifier Regatta in September 2015. The coach will run practices, attend regattas, prepare budgets and manage expenses, recruit new sailors, maintain boats and assist with fundraising activities.
