Hello all, I wanted to pass along a warning to *not *do any of your sailing ordering through Sound Boatworks. The short version is they double charge and never send out the items you ordered. After looking into it a bit, there are hundreds of reviews of the same thing on Yelp, Google, and the Better Business Bureau.
It turns out, several sailors from this conference and across the country have gone through the same thing. They charge twice and don't deliver in hopes that you don't notice or because it's a small company, the credit companies just write off the disputed charges. They also seem to be targeting college sailors sending 'scholastic' deals in hopes of roping you in. Please spread the word this company is a straight up scam. If you order anything from them, you will get no order and they will charge you multiple times. Please save yourself some money and frustration and order from a more reputable company and spread the word to stay away from Sound Boatworks. Best, Brad Schaupeter
