Hi All, The St. Francis Yacht Club is excited to host the St. Francis Invite this coming weekend. We’ve been receiving questions regarding a few logistics – hopefully this email answers the majority of them.
Overnight FJ/dolly storage will be available for the event on the grass median in the middle of the east parking lot Friday, April 3-Sunday, April 5. The docks will be cleared after racing each day. Overnight car and trailer parking is also available along the seawall in the east parking lot at the direction of the Dockmaster. Please pick up parking permits from the Race Office before leaving your cars/trailers overnight or else they will be ticketed and/or towed by Park and Rec. Overnight permits cost $15 per trailer in addition to your registration fees ($10/sailor), so please plan accordingly. Nothing is required for daytime parking. Permits can be picked up starting Friday, April 3. Registration fees will be collected during check-in at 0900 on Saturday, April 4. Looking forward to a great event, Steve Bordes -- Stephen Bordes Sailing and Windsurfing Coach Interim Assistant Race Manager St. Francis Yacht Club [email protected] From: Danielle Richards [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, March 30, 2015 11:06 AM To: NWICSA Mailing List; PCCSC Mailing List Cc: Lynn Lynch; Race Office Subject: St. Francis Invite Teams, Attached is the entry list as of this morning for this weekend's St. Francis Invite. Please reply back to me ASAP with your sail #'s and if you are/are not bringing a women's team. Remember that you must use your assigned sail # (ie 21, 22, or 121, 122). Check your sails to make sure your numbers are clear enough to read (several were not this past weekend...) and that you have the numbers on your jib as well. I shouldn't have to remind you about this but pinnies and UCSG approved life jackets are also required. Zhik lifejackets are not USCG approved. The NOR is available here: http://colleges.nextmp.net/news_events/documents/pccsc_event_docs/stfyc_invite_nor.pdf There is an event entry fee so be prepared to take care of that during check in. Also remember that we are guests at St. Francis so no hats or cell phones in the clubhouse, if you are wet and heading to the showers use the regatta entrance and do not store gear in the locker rooms.
