PCCSC,
Here is the update on this weekend's regattas at Stanford. Please see the
following lists of teams at each regatta. We were oversold so we did move some
teams to the Bryson regatta as well. Bryson will be a A and B regatta but will
be a single fleet event so both A and B will be on the same starting line.
This makes the total event , Both Cardinal and Bryson, have three 18 boat
fleets! This should be a really competitive event on every starting line.
Weekend logistics:
10:30 am report time on Saturday!!! Please come at 10:30 and not earlier as
there is a rowing event there in the morning!
9:30 am Report time on Sunday!
The plan is to do 12 Races in each fleet for the weekend. This means that on
Sunday the end time will be 3pm or 12 races whichever comes sooner. We will
shoot for 8 races in each on Saturday. There is a solid forecast of sea breeze
but it might take a little while to come in. Saturday after racing we will
have a sailor/Coaches debrief. Please feel free to ask questions all weekend
long, both Stanford coaches will be there supporting the event as well as
others. The goal is learning for the weekend!
Parking:
Please park in legal spots around the boathouse if that is filled please park
in the paved lot to the left of the boathouse, you pass it on the way in.
There will be signs. Do not park in the gravel lot (MSI) to the right of the
boathouse! If your on pavement your good if your on gravel move.
Parking is always an issue so please reduce the amount of cars you bring. If
you have friends and family coming to watch please have them park to the left
of the boathouse in the overflow parking.
Sailing:
We will be using our 2 fleets of 18 boats FJ's and z420's. All three regattas
will be rotating through the two fleets much like we do for Fall PCC's. Your
team will be assigned a number for the weekend and you will stick in the same
number in both fleets. So no rotation, just a rotation of fleets.
Do not bring any boats or sails! We have zero room!

the rotation of fleets.
