Sunday, November 15Sunday brought quite the opposite of Saturday's hot, docile conditions. A storm cell brought through some much needed rain and cool weather with gusts into the 20's. 30-45 degree shifts created difficult conditions during the squall, and when it finally passed two races were abandoned as the wind died down to zero knots. Finally a westerly filled and built into a northwest wind later in the day ranging mostly in the teens with occasional puffs in the 20's. Four races were completed for the three divisions despite the large oscillations early in the day. The Gauchos took home the win for both the Varsity and JV course followed closely by Hawaii and USC on the varsity race course. Thank you to the UCSB students for facilitating race committee.
