Hello teams, the Fall Pacific Coast Championship is quickly approaching and
I wanted to remind everyone of a few things including some details that are
different from previous years.

1. The Varsity course allows for one coed team from each school and one
women's team from each school. It is 2 division and both divisions will be
on the water at the same time (this is new this year), so you will need two
boats for each varsity team your school wants to field. The JV course
allows for unlimited teams. It is 2 divisional rotating between A and B in
between sets, so you only need 1 boat per team you would like to field on
the JV course.

2. We have limited charter boats and I had some requests come through, but
we are required to charter boats to schools coming from the furthest
distance first. For teams coming from the northwest, I need your charter
requests ASAP. Signing up online does not guarantee you boats. For the
pccsc teams who requested charters, please resend your requests and I will
aim to let you know if we have boats for you by this coming Monday
evening. JV charters will be the last boats available, but we will try to
help as many schools as possible. Charter boats are $100 each for the
weekend. Sails are not provided with boats, but can be for an extra fee.

3. Signing up early at:

is
very helpful for planning purposes. We are just over one week out, so
please update the number of teams you are planning on bringing.

4. For teams looking for housing with the UCSB sailors, please email
Robbie Johnson, [email protected] ASAP.
