Teams, The PCCSC ExComm is soliciting bids for the 2019 ICSA Singlehanded Nationals. The event will be sailed in a provided fleet of lasers and radials over the weekend of November 9-10.
The host school will also need to host the ISSA (High School) Singlehanded Nationals, November 2-3 and likely the qualifiers for both PCCSC and PCISA (High School). Some helpful information The college entry fee is set at $75 plus $1500 in sponsorship. Just a light snack after racing each day is all they want. ICSA provides all trophies High School entry is up to you, it's been around $120-$150 depending on what you offer (shirts, lunches, etc). They do a simple dinner Saturday night. ISSA provides their own trophies as well. Both need on the water judges (minimum 4 in 2 boats, 6 in 3 boats is better). Depending on your venue you may need to provide a coach boat and spectator boat (separate boats). Coaches need to be in close enough proximity to talk to their sailors after every race or 2. You need to store 36 lasers and all of their gear for about 15 days in a secure place. You will need people to unload and reload the trucks with the 36 boats. ISSA has their AGM on the day before the high school event, they need a meeting room for about 20 people from 10-5 with AV capabilities.
