Peter Wenner Rainbow Invite Promotional 2 Divisions Hawaii in FJ View full report Saturday, January 21 We got off to an early start with a very windy forecast building throughout the day. Winds averaged 10 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 in the rain squalls. We got 8 races off in A division and during the 8th B division race we had a powerful squall line roll through and capsized all but one boat! Race abandoned and with the help of three safety boats and Race Committee all boats made it safely back to the dock in time for the Barbeque. Peter Wenner purchased more than enough food to feed all 16 teams. This is the ninth year Peter has flown out and cooked for the entire regatta. Special thanks to Peter and his family who all flew in for the event as well as Adam and Renee Corpuz-Lahn and Janel Decurtis for a great job running the races.
