Title: Charleston Spring Coed Summary

Saturday, March 11

Though the sailors and race management anticipated a nice 8-10 mph easterly to start the day of racing it was not to be. Occilating puffs from the north and nearly the south made for a couple hour postponement until the breeze finally settled in from the southeast at around 10 mph. Races 1 and 2 were raced and then both divisions sailed in for lunch. Racing resumed at 1:45 that allowed 8 more races in each division be completed by 4:45. Thank you to Ryan Davidson and his team of Cougars for their patience and finally running the full quota of races. Thanks to Bill Healy and Bern Noack for hearing the 2 protests. Congrats to Harvard for sailing a great day and leading over Georgetown as we enter day 2.
