PCCSC,

Tomorrow starts our Coed championship weekend with Coed fleet racing on Friday
and Saturday, then Team Racing on Sunday!

SI’s and NOR are up on TechScore now please put in your RP Form info!

Parking:

Always an issue please reduce the number of cars the best you can. We can park
in any free/Legal spot around the boathouse- Thats the front and the side. We
also have parking in the parking lot next door- You can park to the left of the
boathouse as you are looking at it. DO NOT park in the MSI gravel parking lot
to the Right of the boathouse!!!

Food: Please bring your own food for the day- I would suggest brining a small
cooler for your team. We will have a water jug out there for refilling water
bottles. Be prepared for a long windy day.

Fleet Racing: 12 Teams

A few Reminders

Report Time is 10:30am- please do not show up early! We are trying to schedule
the time so the rowing teams are out of there before we show up as well as we
cannot be on the outside venue till 12:30pm.

We will be sailing outside underneath Bair Island
Everyone will go afloat so be ready to be on the water! Any extras will be on
our rotation dock which will be anchored to Bair Island. So extras can go on
the Island but please be mindful that the Island is a nature preserve- NO
TRASH!!!

We will be doing 3 races sets, we have permission from the ICSA, with rotation
happening off the dock anchored to the Island. Most likely the 3rd race of
each set will be an upwind finish so you will finish and then sail across the
channel to the rotation dock.

Our plan is to have a set off for both A and B and it will be staggered breaks.
On the breaks we will have a boat run anyone in to the bathroom at the
boathouse. The bathroom break will be quick as we can only have one fleet on
the rotation dock at a time.

Friday- A division will be in FJ’s and B Division will be in z420’s. On
Saturday the fleets will switch. The goal is to get 9 Races in on Friday and
probably 6 races on Sunday. We will try for 18 but it just might not be
possible with the time we have.

Coaches: Will be on a coach boat on Friday and Saturday and will have access to
the Rotation Dock as well as driving around the course. We ask that you please
do not have any extras in the coach boat as space is limited. We only want
extras to go into boats from the rotation dock itself to be fair to everyone.
Stanford extras will be on RC boats to help the coaches run races but they will
only rotate in from the rotation dock itself.

Team Racing: 5 Teams

It is a 9:30am Report Time!

The whole regatta will be in z420’s as we are down to 5 teams there is only a
need for 12 boats. This has bee cleared by our conference commish Danielle.
We have a great umpire team. All racing will be inside our basin. The new
format for the 5 teams will be a triple round robin.

Please let me know if you have any questions,

John
