Sunday, October 8Another great day on Salt Pond. S-SW breeze all day, initially below forecast for the first 3 race A set, then followed by a big build and rain for the B set. Racing was incredibly close all day, but Harvard, Yale and St. Mary's continued to gradually extend on the rest of the field. Going into the final A-B race Yale looked solid with an 8 point lead on St. Mary's but dropped 10 points to St. Mary's in 10A. Yale got 1 back in 10B but St. Mary's had the win by 1 point, with Harvard 3rd. PRO Skip Whyte was assisted by Tayor Borges and Ally Kramer on the signal boat with another 10+ Rams assisting with mark set, rotation shuttles, breakdown assistance (none during racing) and island shuttle services. No protests heard, but 2 RAFs. Good sportsmanship all around. See you next year. Top 5Visit http://scores.collegesailing.org/f17/moody/ for full results.
