Hello PCCSC, we have some schools looking for charter boats for Fall PCC. We could really use help from other schools if you can trailer any extras to UCSB to get these teams on the water. If you have the ability to bring an extra boat and charter it out, please let me know.
Additionally, the SB Youth Foundation has some boats that they are trying to sell that are only 4 years old for $1000 each. They are Laser Performance and the centerboard cap under the mainsheet block has delaminated on all of them. This can be fixed professionally for $500-$1000 or you can do a U-Bolt solution that will cost $20. If you are interested in these boats and want to sail them for the Fall PCC's, I can probably assist you with the U-Bolt solution. I will use UCSB as an example: For Coed team the following examples would work... - Sail 31 and 31 - Sail 31 and 131 - Sail 131 and 131 For women's team, the following examples would work... - Sail 32 and 32 - Sail 32 and 132 - Sail 132 and 132 *If you are only bringing a coed team*, you may use any combination of all of the above sails #'s.
