PCCSC Sailors, Mustang Open is this coming weekend and I wanted to go over a few things for teams attending the regatta:
Parking There is free parking along the embarcadero by the Yacht Club, as well as a small parking lot across the street from MBYC. There is additional parking by the launching ramp (head south along embarcadero past YC) for $5 a day. If you have questions once you get to the venue there will be CP sailors there to help you. You can keep trailers along the embarcadero or pay for parking by the launch ramp. Check in Report time is at 9:30 on Saturday. We will be collecting entry fees and charter fees at the yacht club that morning, as well as sail numbers. Cash or checks made out to "Cal Poly ASI" only. Launching We will be sailing in the south basin of Morro Bay near the launching ramp. You can also launch boats from the tarmac at MBYC via a crane (there will be CP sailors facilitating this) or at the launch ramp near the venue. Boats can be stored in the small boat yard or tarmac on Saturday night. Saturday Dinner There will be dinner at the club at 5pm after sailing on Saturday (pasta salad garlic bread). Dinner will be $5 / person. Please give me a head count of how many people will be attending dinner ASAP. We are looking forward to having you!
