Hi everyone, We're so excited for Stoney Burke tomorrow! I'm just sending out a few reminders so that this event runs as smoothly as possible:
- Teams are expected to bring their own FJs (unless they have let me know they will be chartering) and class-legal sails with PCCSC approved sail numbers. Information about sail numbers can be found here: https://pccsc.collegesailing.org/documents/pccsc_standing_rules_sail_numbers.pdf - The entry fee is $40 a boat to cover launching fees by TISC. This can be paid in cash or checks. Checks can be made out to "UC Regents - Sailing" - If you have agreed to charter from us, charters are $100 a boat which can be paid in cash or checks. If you are chartering from TISC (you know who you are), charters are $200 a boat and can be paid by checks made out to "Treasure Island Sailing Center." TISC is offering one last boat to charter for $200 if you need one. *You are expected to bring your own sails. * - We will be selling Stoney Burke T-shirts for $25, which can be paid for by cash or venmo. - The taco guy is not coming and so you must bring your own food and water to this event. There is an island marketplace with many options up the road if you forget. - The dock is under maintenance, so *after launching no one is allowed to spectate from the dock*. Instead, you can spectate on the rocks or in your cars (which will be closer to where racing is). - TISC will be running their own event on Clipper Cove this weekend, so we will have to all do our best to share the space.
