PCCSC Teams, I'm excited for the culmination of our Fall in-conference season at the PCCs at UCSB this coming weekend. Good luck to all of your teams!
As Brad has mentioned in the emails for the event, we will have a meeting on Saturday PM, 11/10, at the conclusion of racing. There are a couple of key items that need to be voted on by the conference. Since this is a meeting immediately following racing, our goal is to keep this short and deal quickly with our conference business. There will be pizza provided, so hopefully this can be a quick chance to feed your face, voice your opinion on some PCCSC items and then head off to rest for a full day of racing on Sunday. For those who cannot attend in person or who would like to listen in/participate remotely, please dial in using our conference line: Conference Call Number: (267) 930-4000 Participant Access Code: 409-469-647 *We will attempt to start the call at 5:30pm (30 minutes following sunset). Please check the PCCSC list for confirmation of the start time on Saturday, 11/10.* Below is a link that will provide access to view the documents via google docs: Fall PCCs Conference Meeting 11.10.2018 <https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1cwCIglaIA4T5qzoKX_OzXAJnWWZiB4kA> Agenda: 1. Proposed PCCSC Schedule for 2019 (Spring, Fall and hosting rotation) 2. PCCSC Scheduling Policy - In-conference and Out-of-Conference (as of Nov 2018) 3. Election of North Graduate Executive VP There are also two other documents that teams should review prior to the Annual Meeting in January. Feel free to discuss these following the meeting, but we will not be able to vote on these during this meeting. For questions on these, please send me an email directly. 1. Proposed updates to the PCCSC Standing Rules (and also the existing SR in PDF) 2. Proposed PCCSC Sail Policy (includes sections deemed unnecessary by Executive Committee (strikethrough sections)). I look forward to chatting with you all this weekend. Good luck at the PCCs! Best, Blaine PCCSC Conference Commissioner
