PCCSC Teams, I look forward to a short chat this afternoon so that we can discuss the status of your teams and I can report on progress from the ICSA COVID task force. MJ and I have the ICSA Special Meeting of the Board following our call, so I will plan to summarize our conversation to that group.
We anticipate having firm decisions on the Fall 2020 season, including our
PCCSC sub-regional schedule and yes/no on whether the Fall 2020 Nationals
will be held, by August 1st (although that is subject to change).
Please review the attached draft Recommendations for Return to Sailing Fall
2020 and bring thoughts on that draft. Please note that this document is
for the ICSA as a whole and our conference may have further restrictions
out of necessity or best practices in CA, HI and AZ.
Also, please bring the following information from your school to the call
at 4pm:
- will students be on campus at your college/university this fall? Will
all of them be on campus or just a % subset (freshmen/seniors, etc)?
- will varsity sports be competing on your campus? (even if you are not
one of them)
- will club sports be competing on your campus? (even if you are not one
of them)
- if so, what limitations are placed on competition or practice?
- are you able to contact college/university staff in order to get
authorization to compete?
