PCCSC Teams, I hope that this finds you all well and beginning school in remote or in-person fashion this Fall. These are crazy times, and I hope that you all are looking out for yourselves, your families and your teammates as we kick off Fall 2020 in our conference.
As you have seen, we have cancelled the fall competition schedule in the PCCSC, yet there will still be activities scheduled for our teams and sailors during this time. During the summer, I received feedback from a number of teams that they would like to learn more about the following in a webinar/Q&A series: - Practice planning, administration, tracking improvement, goal setting, etc. - Scheduling - Fundraising - Sailing after college - dinghies and larger boats - Volunteer coaching and hiring a coach - Purchasing and maintaining equipment (boats, coach boats, trailers, etc) - Hacking travel, both in- and outside of our conference We have the following three nights for us to kick off the series: Thursday, October 1 at 6pm - Practice + Team and individual progress management Thursday, October 15 at 6pm - TBD Thursday, October 29 at 6pm - TBD (other nights to be added as follow-up or additional topics) I hope that you and your teams will be able to join us!
