You may have heard about ICSA TIDE (The Inclusivity, Diversity, and Equity Task Force for ICSA) <https://collegesailing.org/about/tide-committee> during the recent affinity group announcement. One of our current projects is a culture and demographic survey for both sailors and coaches. We want to make sure that PCCSC is represented in this data but we need email addresses. Purpose of Survey: ICSA TIDE is conducting a survey to gather information about the current demographic and culture of College Sailing. By collecting this information, ICSA TIDE will be able to: 1. Gain a deeper understanding of the current College Sailing environment to better inform initiatives that address ICSA TIDE’s mission statement 2. Establish a baseline for future comparison to track progress in sailor retention and other initiatives 3. Propose realistic goals that are based in quantitative data The information gathered from this survey is confidential and in addition to informing ICSA TIDE’s work may be shared with conference level TIDE, executive board, or compiled into a public report. Information gathered is confidential. The survey itself will take 10 minutes to complete. The targeted end date for data collection is December 1, 2020.
