Hello PCCSC, A couple of quick updates:
*Spring PCCs* I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the significant efforts of our host and three other teams that competed in the PCCs this past weekend. Thank you Brian Swingly and the Stanford Sailing Team for hosting the event and ensuring a safe, smart and well-run event. And thank you to Bryan MacDonald and his crew of umpires and judges for working the event - both as Zoom protest committee (on standby) and as umpires on the water for the Team Race PCCs on Sunday. Also, a thank you and congratulations to the teams who competed - Stanford (as host), UCSB, Hawaii and UCSD. This event was a big step back towards normal, and we are excited to have things open up so that we can have a full season this coming Fall. *2021 ICSA Spring National Championships* Congratulations to *Stanford *(Women's, Coed, TR) and *UCSB *(Women's, Coed) who secured berths to the ICSA National Championships hosted by the Naval Academy. The dates of these events will be: Women's -- May 19-20 Team Race -- June 2-3 Coed -- June 7-8 The ICSA Singlehanded Nationals (typically a Fall event) are being held this coming weekend. Good luck to the Stanford women's and men's sailors who will be attending that event in Newport, RI. *2021 Schedule update* The executive committee is reviewing our draft schedule this evening and we hope to have a draft for review by the conference later this week. Our goal is to have the schedule locked down by June 1st so that our teams can begin planning for fall events and travel. I hope that you all are doing well and enjoying peak spring here in the PCCSC. Stay safe and smart and we look forward to seeing you all at a regatta this coming fall!! Best, Blaine PCCSC Commissioner
