Subject: 2021-2022 PCCSC Schedule & Explanation of Changes
To: <[email protected]>

Hey PCCSC, I put together a video explaining the 2021-2022 schedule and
some notes about the changes below. Please take a moment to review these
documents:

   - 2021-2022 PCCSC Schedule

<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ft9bE8BXGItRHSCMf1v5eYEYHZu6V-3gFcKfA3i1n1Y/edit?usp=sharing>
   - Youtube video explanation of PCCSC schedule
   <https://youtu.be/p78wptvINVY>
   - ICSA Interconference Schedule

<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zxiy7tBJlQI53IMDkWUaqp3_x_27WU6mIlMr_-qPqcc/edit?usp=sharing>
   - Documents explaining changes of nationals qualification
   <https://collegesailing.org/resources/meeting-minutes> (First five links
   from the 2021 May meeting)

In summary, here are the main points about the 2021-2022 schedule:

   1. The tabs at the bottom of the 2021-2022 PCCSC Schedule

<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ft9bE8BXGItRHSCMf1v5eYEYHZu6V-3gFcKfA3i1n1Y/edit?usp=sharing>
give
   fall and spring schedules and one tab shows the fall team tier regatta menu
   - this is helpful in making your school's fall schedule. Just decide
   which tier team you are in our conference and select from the events there
   on each weekend.
   2. For a complete rundown of how the new nationals qualification works,
   visit https://collegesailing.org/resources/meeting-minutes and click
   through the links there.
   3. Major changes to our schedule are as follows:
      1. More women's fleet race and team race events (there is now a
      womens' team race nationals) and more high-level team race
events and more
      developmental team race events
         1. These changes were made to achieve more coverage of all racing
         disciplines and to create a few more high-level regattas in our
         conference. *Note: We have not gotten rid of any of our conference's
         well-attended fun events.
      2. Recommended weekends to stay in conference or to travel
         1. This change was made so that we are all attending important
         in-conference events.

If you have questions or need help creating your fall and/or spring
schedule, I'm happy to help the best I can. Reach out to me with questions.

Best,
Brad Schaupeter
