Following are some typos and clarifications I noted while going through
the draft draft-ietf-pce-monitoring-03.txt. I was looking for management
information for the discovery MIB.
Typos
"In PCE-based environments, it is critical to monitor the state of the
path computation chain for <<<troubeshooting>>> and performance
monitoring"
"such metric can have a form of a <<bolean>> "
Section 3.1
"If the Monitoring object is missing, the receiving PCE MUST <<send>> a
PCErr"
Perhaps <<respond with>> is preferable to <<send>>.
"For the sake of <<<illustraion>>>"
Clarification:
Section 3
The explanations of in band and out band may need some enhancement. The
following is unclear: "By "In band" we refer to the situation whereby a
PCC requests to gather metrics in the context of a path computation
request". "in band" and "out band" meaning may be introduced in the
terminology section.
"state metrics" may be introduced in the terminology section too.
Section 3.1
It defines PCMonRep message but introduces a PCMonReq error message.
This mix makes the text "Other objects are optional" very unclear.
Examples may illustrated "in band" and "out band" situations. Example 2
may detail the part of the PCMonReq message requesting the PROC-TIME
information in the PCMonrep.
Section 3.2
Does "<metric-pce-list>" differ from "<metric-list>"?
