Hi, We have updated the draft, entitled, "Architecture and Requirement for Distribution of Link-State and TE Information via PCEP."
This draft addresses PCE architecture change that supports incremental update of Topology and TE data directly from the nodes to PCE. In a stateful PCE setting, PCC can delegate the rights to modify the LSP parameters to an Active Stateful PCE. This requires PCE to quickly be updated on any changes in the Topology and TE data, so that PCE can meet the need for updating LSPs effectively and in a timely manner. We'd appreciate your comments. Thanks & Best regards, Young & Dhruv -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, March 14, 2016 12:05 AM To: Daniele Ceccarelli; Leeyoung; Dhruv Dhody Subject: New Version Notification for draft-leedhody-teas-pcep-ls-02.txt A new version of I-D, draft-leedhody-teas-pcep-ls-02.txt has been successfully submitted by Young Lee and posted to the IETF repository. Name: draft-leedhody-teas-pcep-ls Revision: 02 Title: Architecture and Requirement for Distribution of Link-State and TE Information via PCEP. Document date: 2016-03-13 Group: Individual Submission Pages: 18 URL: https://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-leedhody-teas-pcep-ls-02.txt Status: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-leedhody-teas-pcep-ls/ Htmlized: https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-leedhody-teas-pcep-ls-02 Diff: https://www.ietf.org/rfcdiff?url2=draft-leedhody-teas-pcep-ls-02 Abstract: In order to compute and provide optimal paths, Path Computation Elements (PCEs) require an accurate and timely Traffic Engineering Database (TED). Traditionally this Link State and TE information has been obtained from a link state routing protocol (supporting traffic engineering extensions). This document provides possible architectural alternatives for link- state and TE information distribution and their potential impacts on PCE, network nodes, routing protocols etc. Please note that it may take a couple of minutes from the time of submission until the htmlized version and diff are available at tools.ietf.org.
