Actually we have a collection manager (who dat?), and as long as agriculture (yes agriculture, not basic research!! and really only agriculture having to do with California!! so my reduction possibility to only economically important species is valid) is important we will be around. And Ag is very big in California. Sometimes I think we are better off than some of the University collections, who have big cuts and will see less and less money…(That I give you!)
