I have a 9500 that I am putting in a larger PC AT case, with lots of
drive bays. I have 4 identical 1G Micronet drives. I am thinking about
RAIDing them together. Here are my questions:
1) Is this a good idea?
2) Should they all be on the same SCSI bus?
3) What software should I use?
4) 1 or 2 disks have a history of crashing. What should I do about them? I
was sondering if I could make 2 RAIDs of 2 disks each, and then RAID those
"2" disks for backup, so I would only be able to use 2G.
5) If all are on 1 bus, is it ok to have anything else on the same bus, such
as the startup disk?
Thanks
Chris
