When you got so much its called gratitude.
I had one Mac with a failed CD-rom, logicboard and monitor (within 4
months).
You can also try resetting the ADB port. Have you tried the mouse attached
directly to the adb port on the machine. If necessary open the mouse and see
it a connection does not exist.
