Having read many of your correspondences concerning upgrading the video on
a 8500/180, Voodoo 3 and ATI seem to be the more popular choices. Does one
of the reasons have to do with the 16mg limitation of the 8500? What are
your experiences with Nvidea cards which, to my understanding, have the
newer TNT2 chipset. Because the price differential between an entry level
NVidea card (with 32mg) and an older ATI or Voodoo is insignificant I'm
leaning toward the newer one. Are Mac drivers available? Thoughts?
