There is an Apple .pdf available at
http://www.accesscom.com/~gamba/manuals.html (The link can be really slow
sometimes.) entitled 5_6xxx Video Repair.pdf that explains the video problems
and solutions specific to those models.  It should cover your problem.  If you
are unable to access the link, email me off list and I'll try to attach the
file to an email. (It is about 1 Meg in size.)
