Concerning the Starmax hiccups (which, by the way, are still there, only not
quite as bad), Ben Smith \(QM Systems\) <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> kindly

That seems to describe exactly what is going on. Does anyone know if this is
true on the Mac version of Office, and, if so, what the offending extension
is? That would save me disabling one extension at a time, rebooting, and
running for a while to see if that's the one. (I am at my office, and so I
can't check right now if "fast find" is also on the Mac.)
The only thing that bothers me is that I installed Office 98 on my 8600 at
the same time, and there are no hiccups there (OS 9.1 on 8600, 8.6 on
Starmax).
Thanks all
Kim
