I've recently picked up an old Workgroup Server 7250
and am in the process of researching my upgrade
options. The unit has a 1.2 gig scsi hard drive which
I will need to expand upon or replace. Being a server
it's got two drive bays, but the problem is the 50 pin
scsi-1 interface connection. Has anyone used one of
these 50 pin female to 68 pin female adapters, and if
so does it work pretty well for you? It's harder to
find the 50 pin variety hd and the 68 pin is much more
abundant and inexpensive, so I'm hoping to but two of
these in instead. Does the unit being a SCSI-1
interface complicate things by using a 68 pin adapter,
hard drives and cables?
