"Anyway, I'm just soliciting opinions, and wanting to calk Macs instead of politics.
Anybody feel the urge to sound off about their favorite model of PCI PowerMac, and why
it's the sweetest?

Have a good day
Dave Cooley"

David:
Asking anyone about their favorite Mac will proably incite a series of spirited and
unending debates far exceeding any political discussions. So here's my contribution to
the debate: Although I bought my first Mac(a 128) in '85, I've mostly been a trailing
edge type ($$ and all that). I've been through Pluses, an SE-30 (still have it for old
times sake), IIsi's (anyone want one?), IIci's (ditto), a Q-650, 700 and 950. I now
have a 7500 fitted with a G-3 card, and it is, in my opinion, a superb example of how
to do it right the first time -- easy to open, easy to upgrade, solidly built. Not
that I won't get a G-4 one day, but the 7500 is like the IIci used to be -- best in
class (kinda like my VW Passat). Now let's debate cars...
Bill
