I have a Beige G3/233 desktop. 224MB RAM, 4gig Caviar on the
internal IDE, 30gig Caviar on a VST ATA/66 card (boot drive - OS 9.1)
and a USB card. VRAM has been boosted to 6MB
I installed a MicroConversions VP-4M-PCI 4MB graphics card. It is
recognised in Apple System Profiler (as Blue Lotus or something) but
does not give video output on either an "Apple ColorSync Display" or
"Macintosh 21" Color Display". Both monitors work fine on built-in
video.
I have tried pulling the other PCI cards and booting from the 4gig
drive (OS 8.6) to no avail.
I found some info on XLR8YourMac that indicated that the card didn't
work on a Blue G3 (Yosemite), but there weren't any fixes listed.
The ROM revision on the beige G3 is $77D.45F1. I think thats RevA,
but I'm not certain.
The display card is in slot $A1 (closest to power supply). Apple
System Profiler reports it with card name as "MCIG,Beatrice" and
model "Blue Lotus". The ROM number of the card is unavailable. Card
revision is "1". If its important I could probably open this up and
check the BIOS/ROM number, but this desk is pretty full so its 30min
+ job to do that.

TIA
