Good suggestion but I would go with the LaserWriter Pro 630.  10 ppm, 32 
meg ram max, 600dpi with
postscript 2 and HCL 4+.  You can find them around for under $200 and the 
parts seem to be
readily available.  (Uses the same as an HP 4).
